Open-plan offices with glass perimeters are a comfort war: the window seats roast while the core freezes. The tenant's build-out gave us the chance to do it properly.
We designed a Daikin VRV system with fourteen indoor zones — perimeter cassettes tracking solar load separately from the interior, a dedicated unit holding the server closet at 68° around the clock, and CO₂-driven fresh air that scales with actual occupancy.
Commissioning included a two-week tuning period against real occupancy patterns. Facilities now manages the entire floor from one dashboard, and the temperature-complaint Slack channel has gone quiet.
